Components of HZS180 Concrete Batching Plant

Mixing System

  • Core Equipment: JS3000 twin-shaft forced mixer.
  • Function: This is the "heart" of the batching plant, strongly and efficiently mixing all raw materials (aggregates, cement, water, admixtures) to produce uniform and qualified concrete.
  • Features: The "twin-shaft" design provides strong mixing power, high efficiency, and excellent homogeneity, making it ideal for dry, semi-dry, and plastic concrete.

Aggregate Supply System

Core Equipment:

  • Aggregate Bins: Usually 4 or more storage bins, used to separately store aggregates of different sizes such as gravel and sand.
  • PLD Series Concrete Batching Machine: Typically PLD4800 (or other variants), with multiple hoppers built-in, accurately weighing each type of aggregate according to the computer mix design.
  • Aggregate Conveyor: Transports weighed aggregates from the batching machine to the inclined belt conveyor.
  • Inclined Belt Conveyor (also called Loading Belt): A hallmark of the HZS series, responsible for lifting aggregates and delivering them to the temporary hopper above the mixer.

Powder Storage and Conveying System

  • Cement Silo (Powder Tank): Usually with a capacity of 100 or 150 tons, used to store cement, fly ash, and other powder materials. A typical HZS180 plant is equipped with 2–4 silos.
  • Screw Conveyor: Connected at the bottom of the cement silo, transporting powder materials continuously and sealed to the powder weighing scale on the mixer via rotating screw blades.

Water and Admixture System

  • Water Scale/Water Tank: Storage tank with level gauge and precise weighing device, responsible for storing and accurately measuring mixing water.
  • Water Pump: Responsible for supplying water.
  • Admixture Scale (Tank): Usually made of stainless steel, divided into multiple compartments for storing different types of admixtures, with precise measurement and dosing.

Weighing System

This is a key system ensuring concrete quality, running through the entire material supply process.

  • Aggregate Scale: Located inside the batching machine.
  • Powder Scale: Located above the mixing main machine, receiving powder from the screw conveyor.
  • Water and Admixture Scales: Independent or integrated beside the mixer.

All scales use high-precision sensors, managed uniformly by the control system, ensuring absolute accuracy of the mix ratio.

Control System

  • Core Equipment: Industrial computer, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), electrical control cabinet, operator console.
  • Function: This is the "brain" of the batching plant. It stores hundreds of mix designs, controls the full automation of the production process, records production data, prints reports, and monitors equipment status. Modern batching plants generally use fully automatic control, with manual mode as a backup.

Pneumatic System

  • Core Equipment: Air compressor, air tank, cylinders, solenoid valves, pipelines.
  • Function: Provides power for various actions, such as controlling bin gates and mixer discharge gates.

Structural Framework

Includes the mixing main machine platform, batching machine frame, conveyor supports, etc., providing support for all equipment.

Workflow of HZS180 Concrete Batching Plant

Loading: Loaders load sand, gravel, and other aggregates into the respective bins of the batching machine.

Batching: The control system opens and closes the bin gates according to the preset mix design, accurately weighing aggregates and transferring them to the aggregate conveyor.

Conveying: The aggregate conveyor delivers the weighed aggregates to the temporary hopper above the mixer.

Feeding and Mixing:

  • Powder materials such as cement and fly ash are conveyed from the silos to the powder scale via screw conveyors for weighing.
  • Water and admixtures are measured by pumps and dosing devices.
  • All materials (aggregates, powders, water, admixtures) are sequentially fed into the JS3000 mixing main machine.
  • The mixer performs strong mixing to produce uniform concrete.

Discharging: The mixed concrete is discharged through the mixer gate directly into concrete mixer trucks.
